FAQs

1 / How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible — especially for spring and fall weddings, which fill up fast. A deposit is required to hold your date.

2 / What if my wedding already happened?

If your wedding has passed and you still have your bouquet, reach out right away! I can often work with flowers that are a few days old, or even dried — depending on condition.

3 / How do I get my flowers to you?

You can drop off at my home studio in Jacksonville, FL (near Kernan & Atlantic). I also offer pickup within 40 miles for a $50 fee. If you’re farther out, I’m happy to travel for an additional cost. Not local? I’ll provide detailed shipping instructions to keep your flowers safe.

4/ How long does the process take?

From the time I receive your flowers, it typically takes 8 - 12 weeks to fully preserve, design, and cure your resin pieces. High-demand seasons may take slightly longer.

5/  Can I choose the layout or flower placement?

Absolutely! I welcome your input and vision. I’ll also guide you based on which flowers preserve best and which layouts work well with your chosen items.

6/ What types of flowers work best in resin?

Most flowers can be preserved beautifully, but thick or high-moisture blooms (like lilies or succulents) may need to be pressed or dried in a special way. I’ll let you know what’s possible with your bouquet.

7/ What if my flowers arrive damaged or moldy?

If your flowers arrive in poor condition, I’ll contact you right away to discuss options. In some cases, I may be able to replace certain blooms or use pressed petals instead.

8/ Can I include flowers from a funeral or memorial?

Yes — floral preservation is a beautiful way to honor a loved one. I accept memorial arrangements as well, and the process is very similar.

9/ Do you offer gift cards?

Yes! Floral preservation makes a meaningful wedding or baby shower gift. I offer both physical and digital gift certificates.

10/ Is the resin yellowing over time?

I use high-quality, UV-resistant resin to reduce yellowing. Like any handmade art, your pieces will last best when displayed out of direct sunlight and extreme heat.

11/ Will my piece be completely flawless?

Each item is handmade with great care, but because resin art is a handcrafted process, slight imperfections are possible — including microbubbles, dust specks, or small surface variations. I do my absolute best to minimize these and use high-quality materials and professional techniques. These subtle details are a normal part of resin work and reflect the truly one-of-a-kind nature of your keepsake.

12/ Can you preserve artificial or silk flowers?

Yes! I can work with high-quality faux or silk flowers. While the preservation process is different, the resin results are still beautiful.

13/ Can I include a note, ribbon, or charm from my bouquet?

Yes! I’m happy to include ribbon, lace, charms, or other small keepsakes — as long as they can safely be embedded in resin. Just let me know in advance so I can plan your layout accordingly.
